"UP & ATOM!" is coming...

Hey! We finally have our second new single coming out!!!! I know the last one was in February. It's been a bit of a crazy year. Originally we had been intending to release a song called "1-900-Vicious" first, but we got bogged down in video details and it got temporarily put on the back burner.

In the meantime, I had an idea for a new video for a different song... "Up & Atom." You might recognize that as the catchphrase of a certain superhero from a certain television program that I don't think I'm allowed to mention. The inspiration behind this awesome tune? "Well," I says to meself, "if Black Sabbath can write a song called "Iron Man..." which really has nothing to do with the comics character Iron Man.... and have it be the gigantic hit that it is... AND not have Marvel Comics sue the pants off of them... then we can do it, too. And by George, we can do it BETTER.

Thus, the tune was born. And in the video, we wanted to pay tribute to the great comic books of each of the past generations. An homage, if you will. Several homages. To beloved characters like Aquaman, Robin, Superman, the Flash, or Wolverine. And many, many more.

Am I legally allowed to put these images in a video? That's not for me to say. That's for the lawyers drafting the cease and desist order to say. So let's just let them say it, and have ourselves a few laughs in the meantime.

The video also features some pretty killer performance shots of the band in our new rehearsal environment (our natural habitat). And a lot of random humour, as you've grown to expect from all Braindead Romeo videos thus far.

So buckle up, kids. "Up & Atom" is going live on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30th. If we actually do get sued, it might get taken down quickly. But boy, that will make for a hell of a headline!!!
